Small did not mean minimal about the features and capabilities. Proof Sony DSC-T90 is able to produce quality shots even though satisfactory, including extremely thin size. Not only that, the quality of the camera casing fabric is also good enough that even if the camera is slim but you do not have to worry about this camera is easily damaged. Of course, it all must be redeemed at a price which is hardly cheap.

Sony DSC-T90 is a camera with 12.1 megapixel sensor with optical zoom capability up to 4x. Like most of the latest digital cameras, Sony DSC-T90 uses the touch screen feature to access the features available on the menu. And because not many buttons should be installed, then the space in the back could be maximized to accommodate wide-screen 3-inch LCD with a bright display.

Thickness of this camera is only about 15mm with a total weight of about 150 grams, including batteries. This camera body is made of mostly plastic but feels solid when held. This superb quality is also visible from the slider mechanism that functions as a lens cover. This mechanism can be shifted easily and completely halting.

Not many buttons mounted on this camera. There is only zoom buttons, playback, shutter, and of course the power button. All functions can be accessed via the main menu of the touch screen. Menu interface is made simple and easy to understand although some menus not equipped with a label that need adaptation to identify the function of each of these keys.

Problem features, Sony DSC-T90 is equipped with face detection, smile shutter, intelligent scene modes, and touch-screen focus point selection. Sony also did not forget to install the optical image stabilization that works well even when the shutter openings arranged in a very low speed.

Two seconds of dead, is the time required by the Sony DSC-T90 is to be ready to shoot while the gap between one process with the next photo shoot is only about 1.7 seconds. The result was very satisfactory. Picture looks bright with the colors accurate. Details captured well although, as in most compact cameras, noise is the main problem.
